- As much as it is possible you should avoid leather footwear being wet. Natural leather shoes are made of non-homogeneous material, its natural ability is to absorb and to let through water. This feature provides a perfect hygienic properties unparalleled in comparison to any other materials, though the cost of this feature is limited waterproofness. Every shoe wetting impacts the leather appearance and properties. (It is prohibited to wash the footwear in any case!!!).
- It is only possible to dry the footwear properly at room temperature. To prevent shoe deformation it is recommended to use shoe fillers, or to fill the shoe with soft paper. (Please remember not to use hairdryers, radiators, or any other appliances for drying purpose, high temperature may damage the shoes).
- Please remember to use the shoes according to their purpose. We remind that formal footwear is not appropriate for any type of sport activities, it shouldn’t be used as work shoes either.
- Keeping footwear clean and systematic conservation will provide its durability and aesthetic appearance.
- We advise to perform a routine shoe conservation using a proper conservation means for specific type of leather(leather type is marked on the box). At the back of the leaflet you can find conservation and cleaning methods as well as different conservation means written.
